Washington Offerings
-
Your evaluation is collaborative and whole-person centered, focusing on your unique story, goals, and treatment needs—not just symptoms. We’ll explore whether oral ketamine may be an appropriate part of your care and discuss the potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and responsibilities involved in treatment.
Initial psychiatric evaluations are scheduled for 75 minutes - $250
-
If ketamine is determined to be appropriate, we’ll develop an individualized medication plan and provide ongoing medication management to monitor your response, safety, and treatment needs over time. Ketamine is prescribed for self-administration in the presence of a licensed therapist who provides psychotherapy and observation separately from Upwell Psychiatry’s medication management services.
Follow-up sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes - $160
-
Upwell Psychiatry provides Washington services on a self-pay basis. We do not bill insurance for these services.
If you’d like a superbill, please request one to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Under the federal No Surprises Act, uninsured and self-pay clients are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before scheduled services.
Estimated psychiatric fees:
Initial psychiatric evaluation (75 minutes): $250
Medication management follow-up (30 minutes): $160
Additional psychiatric visits: $160 per visit, as clinically indicated
Your initial evaluation and any follow-up appointments are billed separately. The frequency of follow-up depends on your individual clinical needs and is not necessarily required after every treatment session.
Payments are due at the time services are rendered and processed with the card on file.
Not included: Prescription medication, pharmacy or compounding pharmacy fees, therapist fees (including EMDR), laboratory testing, and services provided by other healthcare professionals. These costs are determined and billed separately by the applicable provider.
A Good Faith Estimate is an estimate, not a guarantee of the total cost of care. If your actual bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charge under federal law.

Sometimes we find ourselves longing for a deeper connection—to ourselves, to others, and to a life that feels aligned. Whether you're navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, a life transition, or simply sensing that something needs to shift, psychiatric care can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what might support you moving forward.
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique path. Together, we’ll consider your symptoms, experiences, goals, and values to develop an individualized treatment plan. When appropriate, this may include oral ketamine alongside other psychiatric medications and supportive care.
If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect and explore whether my approach to psychiatric evaluation and medication management is a good fit for your needs.
